Emerald Forest products are proudly made in the U.S.A. of domestic and global ingredients.

I remember Emerald Forest from years ago. Has the formula changed?

Yes. If you haven't tried Emerald Forest lately, welcome back...you'll notice some very nice improvements.

Our new shampoos are made without sulfates, and have been improved with mild surfactants (cleansing), are more gentle and have a nice foaming action. The shampoos now have organic & fair trade ingredients, and plant based extracts. Our new conditioners are also sulfate-free, and also include organic & fair trade ingredients, a special blend of moisturizing oils, botanical extracts and have a light and creamy texture.

As always, Emerald Forest products are made with rainforest inspired botanicals, including our signature Sapayul oil, the ancient Mayan secret for beautiful hair.

Also, the new products are Vegan friendly!

Do you test your products on animals?

No. Emerald Forest products are Cruelty Free, we do not test our products on animals.

Are Emerald Forest products vegan friendly?

Yes, our products are considered vegan friendly.

Are Emerald Forest products made with organic ingredients?

Yes. While our products are not 100% organic, they are made with many organic and high quality ingredients, essential oils, botanicals and rainforest inspired ingredients.

Do Emerald Forest products contain sulfates?

No. Our newly reformulated botanical shampoos and conditioners do not contain Sodium Laureth Sulfate or Sodium Laurel Sulfate.

Are Emerald Forest products Gluten Free?

Our newly reformulated botanical shampoos and conditioners, are made without gluten. They are also made without sulfates, parabens, PEG's, phthalates and animal by-products. However, we do not guarantee that our products are completely free of ingredients that may elicit an allergic reaction. If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor prior to use.

Are Emerald Forest products safe for people with allergies?

Emerald Forest lists the ingredients for each product on our website and the product labels. Please review the ingredients list prior to purchasing. If you are sensitive or allergic to any of the ingredients, you should avoid that product. Many Emerald Forest products are made with ingredients derived from nuts, including oils like Sapayul, Macadamia, Coconut, Sunflower & Kukui. We do not guarantee that our products are completely free of ingredients that may elicit an allergic reaction. If you have any concerns, please consult your doctor prior to use.
